Appointments
We want to make seeing the dentist as simple and convenient as possible for you. That's why we've made requesting an appointment a feature of our Web site. Of course, you can still call us at 815-786-2146 during normal business hours and we'll happily assist you with scheduling an appointment. If, for any reason you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, or will be delayed, please call us as soon as possible.

Insurance and Billing
We accept most traditional insurance plans, and you can verify acceptance of yours by contacting our office. The Waters Dental Group does not participate in Health Management Organizations (HMOs). As long as you are free to choose your own dentist we will be happy to file your insurance claims for you. We accept checks, cash, and credit cards, and also offer a flexible payment plan. Please see our Administrative Assistant for details.

Straight Talk about Insurance
We want you to understand what dental insurance really accomplishes for you. If you receive dental insurance as a benefit through your employer, the more your employer pays for that insurance, the higher the rates of coverage and the more you will receive in compensation from your insurance plan. Dental insurance is simply to help you pay for your dental work. It is not designed to help you make decisions about what treatment is in your best interest. We will not compromise the dental health of our patients by recommending treatment based on what their dental insurance will pay.
