Alternatives to Braces

Are you looking for an alternative to metal braces? We have many wireless and bracket-less options to meet the orthodontic needs of our patients who are looking for an alternative to traditional braces. Come in for a consultation and meet with Dr. Waters; he will address your concerns, answer questions, and discuss your goals. He will then evaluate your teeth and gather your diagnostic information (impressions, photos and x-rays) to determine which option is best for you and your individual smile. Whether or not you meet your treatment goals at our office, or through a referral to an orthodontist, there are several treatment options available to get you the smile you want. Depending on the complexity of your case, you may be able to select from the different options listed below. The cost for these options varies, but rest assured that all financial matters will be discussed in detail once a plan is agreed upon, prior to the start of treatment.

ClearCorrect™

ClearCorrectTM is an easy and discreet way to align and straighten a broad range of conditions, resulting in a stunning smile. ClearCorrectTM invisible braces are the clear and simple choice to straighten your teeth so you can show off your smile. With ClearCorrectTM, we can straighten your teeth using a series of clear, custom, and removable aligners. Each aligner moves your teeth just a little bit at a time until you eventually get straight teeth.

How Does ClearCorrect™ Work?

  • 3D models of your teeth are created to create a phase zero passive aligner to get you accustomed to wearing the aligners right away
  • Gradual adjustment aligners are created, which you will wear all the time, except while eating and drinking or during daily tooth care
  • You’ll visit our office periodically to check your progress and dispense the next phase of your aligners
  • Treatment time and fees are determined on an individual patient basis

Invisalign®

Invisalign® is a system of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that will give you beautiful straight teeth, without the look or feel of traditional braces. Plus, you can’t even tell you are wearing them! Invisalign® is a great option for both adults and teenagers.

How Does Invisalign® Work?

  • Wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
  • As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move little by little, week by week, until they have straightened to the their final position.
  • You’ll visit us about once every six weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
  • Total treatment time averages 9-15 months and the average number of aligners during treatment is between 18-30, but both will vary from case to case.
